The government has set up a working group on decriminalizing laws aimed at boosting the ease of doing business in the country. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal gave this information in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
During the discussion on the Public Trust Bill, 2023, Goyal said that the committee will find those areas where there is a greater need to decriminalize legal provisions.
