Rampur’s rich craftsmanship and delicious cuisine will make their mark at the international level during the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026, being organized from September 25 to 29 at India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida. A total of seven prominent industrial and handicraft units from Rampur district have been selected for the mega trade fair being organized jointly by the state government and India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML).
Under the state government’s flagship ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) scheme, Rampur’s world-famous zari-patchwork, and under the ‘One District One Cuisine’ (ODOC) scheme, the historic Habshi Halwa will be the main attractions. In addition, three other prominent producers from the district will showcase grass mats, table runners and mentha crystals.
Under the state government’s ambitious ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) scheme, a stall has been allotted in Hall No. 9 to give global recognition to Rampur’s traditional zari-zardozi and patchwork crafts. The proprietor of M/S Ashraf Traders will showcase their exquisite zariwork and patchwork products. Rampur’s zari-patchwork is recognized across India and abroad for its finesse and intricate craftsmanship.
In addition, M/S Gulshan Welfare Society will showcase traditional hand embroidery products in Hall No. 11. This international platform will open avenues for garments prepared by local women artisans and craftspeople to receive direct orders from major fashion houses and foreign exporters.
Under the ‘One District One Cuisine’ (ODOC) scheme launched to preserve the culinary heritage, Rampur’s royal Habshi Halwa will become a preferred choice among domestic and foreign guests. Two renowned establishments from the district have been entrusted with responsibilities in the food zone of the Trade Show. Rehan Khan, proprietor of M/s Shahi Mithaas, will showcase attractive packs of Habshi Halwa under the packaged food category so that international buyers can easily purchase the product.
Meanwhile, Suhail Akhtar Khan, proprietor of M/s Hakim Ji Sweets, will operate a live kitchen at the Trade Show premises. Here, halwa will be prepared on a traditional furnace in front of visitors, giving them a direct experience of Rampur’s Nawabi flavors and rich culinary heritage.
Entrepreneurs from other sectors reflecting Rampur’s diversity have also been given space in prominent halls in the main exhibition area. M/s A.J. Handicraft will showcase eco-friendly grass mats and traditional carpets in Hall No. 10, which are in high demand in European countries.
Under the home furnishing category, M/s Amigo’s will present new table runner designs in Hall No. 14. Meanwhile, representing the district’s identity in the industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, M/s Neeru Menthol has been allotted a stall in Hall No. 15, where high-quality mentha oil and crystal products will be showcased before global chemical and FMCG companies.

The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show will be a milestone for entrepreneurs and traditional artisans in the district. Through this international exhibition, businesses associated with Rampur’s ODOP products, Habshi Halwa, zari-patchwork, mentha and home furnishing will get direct access to global buyers and international investors. The department’s effort is to ensure these seven units receive the best possible platform and exposure during the Trade Show. As a result, the district’s products gain global recognition while boosting local employment and exports.
