Yogi govt harnesses technology to improve education; AI makes learning easier in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is making efforts to integrate modern technology into education. In this direction, artificial intelligence (AI) is proving helpful in making learning simpler, more engaging and effective for students in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas run by the Social Welfare Department.

Technology is enabling students to understand complex subjects, find answers to their queries and explore new ways of learning.

The Yogi government aims to equip students with quality education while preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the times. The use of AI-based tools in Sarvodaya Vidyalaya is helping children understand mathematical problems step by step, learn difficult scientific concepts through examples and find solutions to language-related difficulties. This is giving students an opportunity to prepare better for their subjects and identify areas where they need improvement.

With the help of AI-based tools, students can access practice materials tailored to their needs. When they find a question difficult to understand, they can learn the process of solving it. This helps them go beyond simply obtaining answers to understanding concepts and learning from their mistakes.

The use of technology under teachers’ guidance is helping make the learning process more effective.

The use of digital technology is also important for developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills and digital literacy among students.

In a rapidly changing world, technological knowledge can open up new opportunities for them. The use of AI in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas is a positive step towards aligning education with modern-day requirements.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare Asim Arun said, “The appropriate use of technology makes education simpler and more effective. AI is helping students learn new things, hone their abilities and prepare for the challenges of a changing world.” He emphasised the safe and responsible use of AI.

Social Welfare Department Director Sanjeev Singh said, “The emphasis on using technology in education is helping create new learning opportunities for students. With teachers’ guidance and the balanced use of modern tools, children’s understanding, confidence and preparedness for the future can be strengthened.”
