Before the Lok Sabha elections, Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand has been provided security under the ‘Y’ category by the Ministry of Home Affairs. It’s worth mentioning that Mayawati declared Akash as her successor in December last year. Akash entered politics in 2017 after completing his MBA from a college in London.
