Apart from being a teacher and politician, Srila was known for her beautiful sarees in the House of Lords and was a life peer as Baroness Flether of Windsor and Maidenhead, Berkshire. Life peer is a title which cannot be transferred to anyone else and is conferred by the British Prime Minister.
