Lakhimpur Kheri: Last year, on September 26, the Supreme Court had relaxed bail conditions for Ashish Mishra, allowing him to travel to the National Capital Region (NCR) for his ailing mother’s care and his daughter’s treatment. The case is related to the violence that occurred on October 3, 2021, in Tikunia, Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, where eight people lost their lives.
