In Maharashtra : The Maharashtra government has appointed the current Director-General of Police (DGP), Rajnish Seth, as the Chairman of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). This information was shared by a police officer on Thursday. IPS officer Seth, who belongs to the 1988 batch, is set to retire in December this year. He mentioned that he would have two more years to serve as the Chairman of MPSC before reaching the age of 62.
