Lucknow – From January 14 to January 22, there will be devotional singing and chanting in temples across Uttar Pradesh. Following the directives of the Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary of Culture has issued government orders for all District Magistrates and Commissioners. In Ayodhya, in conjunction with the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama at the Rama Temple, the Department of State Culture has prepared to organize cultural programs, including recitation of the Ramayana, devotional singing, and other cultural events in all the Rama Temples, Hanuman Temples, Shivalik Temples, and more across the state. Additionally, programs featuring lighting of lamps, deep-daan (offering of lamps), discourse on the story of Rama, and recitation of the ‘Ramcharitmanas’ will be conducted during this period.
