Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the Indian team’s victory over South Africa in the Cricket World Cup and said that the team has also given a ‘great birthday gift’ to Virat Kohli.
On his 35th birthday, Kohli also equaled his idol Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries with his 49th century. His century laid the foundation for the Indian team’s spectacular 243-run victory over South Africa in the World Cup on Sunday.
